Shipping

For those waiting for shipping of physical items.

The fulfillment center told me yesterday that they'll be shipping items out by mid May.

For those that are receiving physical PC editions, they told me that they might be shipped out a week or two later, due to a manufacturing issue.

Studio Foglio Kickstarter

Kaja at Studio Foglio asked me to share that their Kickstarter for their newest Girl Genius graphic novel, "An Entertainment In Londinium" is closing in a few days, so last chance to get in on the action!

Teslagrad Kickstarter

At Rain, we're doing a Kickstarter for creating physical copies of "Teslagrad - Remastered" and "Teslagrad 2" for Nintendo Switch™ and Playstation. There's also a bunch of cool items available like miniature figurines, T-shirts, stickers and other merch. Our man Roland is running that campaign. Shipping information

Dear Backers,

we're finally closing in on shipping physical items, and I'll provide information on that in this post.

First things first, thank you to all Kickstarter Backers that paid their shipping fees in Backerkit. Approximately 2/3rds of the shipments have shipping cost covered.

There are however, approximately 600 backers missing shipping payments, which requires me to do a second pass so that people that might have missed this get a second chance to update their payment details in Backerkit.

Missing Shipping Payment?

If you want to receive your physical items, and have missing shipping payment, please update your payment details in Backerkit.

• Backers missing payment details will receive an email from Backerkit this week. Either follow the information in that email to update payment details, or follow the manual way described below.
• If you want to check if you've paid shipping, please follow the manual way described below and check the balance. If it is not negative, shipping has been paid.

Manual way:

1. Log in to Backerkit.
2. Find your survey for this project and open it.
3. Click the "View Confirmation" button in the upper right to see the receipt window.
4. Scroll down to see the receipt and balance, with the amount to pay for shipping fee.
5. Scroll down and click the "Update Payment Details" button in the lower right in the "Payment" section.

We are applying the charge on Friday the 12th of April, and you will also be notified of this in advance by email from Backerkit. This is a deadline, as we are updating final shipping manifests for bulk shipping the week after.

Itinerary

• Final charge of any missing backers updating their payment details on Friday the 12th of April.
• We'll send in final shipping manifests to the fulfillment center the week after.
• Shipping will commence when the fulfillment center have processed the final manifests, and they've received items to ship out. The Artbooks are in, they are waiting for the Switch versions that are in transit, and completed manufacture of PC physical.
• There may be a slight delay on shipping PC Physical version due to a manufacture issue, but I'm not sure yet. I'll notify backers receiving this if necessary.

Regarding the games giveaway

• There was a technical issue on the giveaway, causing some backers to not receive codes. Sorry :(
• Teslagrad 2 is unfortunately empty, but if you didn't receive a code for Viking Chess or Mesmer, and would like one, please contact me in DM on Kickstarter. I have some extra for those games.

Important! Shipping Fee and Payment

Dear Backers,

this update is only for backers receiving physical items. The update is public so that it works with Backerkit's email system.

As this update contains important information, please read carefully.

Shipping and Fulfillment fees

The final shipping costs by Region are finally ready. All items are shipped from the USA.

• North-America: $12.00,-
• South America: $37.00,-
• European Union: $17.50,-
• Europe (Non-Eu countries): $21.00,-
• Asia: $24.00,-
• Australia: $28.50,-
• Rest Of World: $50.00 (No backers should have this shipping fee applied. Please notify me by DM on Kickstarter if you have this number on your bill, since it means I've forgotten your country in the shipping fee list.)

Taxes

• Items will be shipped DOD (Duties On Delivery), so you may be eligible for taxes in your country upon receiving the shipment.
• The items will be shipped, marked as Gift, which may clear customs tax-free in some countries.

No Double-Charge for shipping

• Backers who have already paid for shipping will not be double charged.
• This applies to:
  • Backers who purchased an Add-On post campaign in Backerkit.
  • People who solely purchased a Pre-Order in Backerkit.
• I've voided the additional shipping cost to backers whom these apply to.

Payment

• On Monday the 18th of March you'll receive an email from Backerkit to update your payment information.
• It'll look like this:

• Click the link in the email to enter your payment details in Backerkit.
• It'll look like this:

• You'll see the shipping fee applied to your balance. 
• Enter your credit card details and click the Place My Order button.
• Your credit card will be charged for the balance in Order Total on Thursday 28th of March. You'll be notified a few days before the charge occurs by an email from Backerkit.

Address Change

• If you have an address change since we locked addresses, please send me a DM in Kickstarter and I'll fix it manually.
• If a lot of people need address change, we'll unlock addresses for a short period of time.

Dates

• 18th of March: Update Payment email sent out from Backerkit
• 28th of March: Credit cards charged in Backerkit
• Shipping asap in early April, so long as we have a large bulk of shipments with paid shipping. 

Game Giveaways

• We're giving away some of our games to backers receiving physical items. They'll be made available through Backerkit on Monday 18th or Tuesday.
• Viking Chess: Hnefatafl (Steam only)
• Mesmer (Steam only)
• Teslagrad 2 (Steam only, limited amount of keys available. When we're out, we're out.)
